LG Repair Service Policy
Onsite Repair
Review the LG Onsite Repair Service Policy for service performed onsite at the customer location.
- 1.FEES AND CHARGES.Depending on the Product(s), labor and functional part charges will vary between $150.00 and $250.00 (the “Flat Rate”).Parts not covered by the Flat Rate include cosmetic parts, consumable parts, and TV panel. Customer (or “You”) will be solely responsible for all charges associated with cosmetic and consumable parts and TV panel.New or refurbished parts may be used, at LG’s option for the Out-of-Warranty Repair Service (the “Repair Service”).The Fees and Charges are subject to change without notice.
- 2. PAYMENT METHODS.All Fees and Charges are payable upon service completion. LG Technician will accept major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express), checks or cash as your method of payment.
- 3.LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE REPAIR SERVICE.Any completed Repair Service is warranted for ninety (90) days (parts and labor) from the date of the Repair Service.The Repair Service warranty applies only to Out-of-Warranty Product Repair Service and covers only replacement of functional part(s) installed on your Product, not covered under the factory warranty or another extended service contract. If,within ninety (90) days after a completed Repair Service, the LG Product fails to work properly and the failure is related to the prior Repair Service and no new repair issues have arisen during said time frame, you agree that LG may, at its sole discretion, provide another Repair Service at no additional cost to you or issue a full refund of the service fee paid by you to LG in connection with the Repair Service provided.Within ninety (90) days of the Repair Service, if any new issue(s)does not result from or arise from the prior Repair Service, you may elect to have further Repair Service performed to address the new issue(s), for the payment of additional fees to cover parts and labor, provided that LG Technician determines further Repair Service is practical.
- 4. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS.THE LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE REPAIR SERVICE DOES NOT COVER:
- Service trips to deliver, pick up, or install the Product or for instruction on Product use.
- Repairs when Product is used in other than normal and usual household use (e.g. rental, commercial use, offices or recreational facilities).
- Use of the Product contrary to the instructions outlined in the Owner’s Manual.
- Performance issues when the repaired Product is used in combination with other equipment or software.
- Damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, or improper installation, de installation, repair or maintenance.
- Damage or failure caused by unauthorized modification or alteration of the Product.
- Damage or failure resulting from environmental pollution such as salt damage or soot.
- Damage or failure caused by accidents, pests and vermin, lightning, wind, fire, floods or acts of God.
- Damage or failure caused by incorrect electrical current, voltage or plumbing codes.
- Damage due to sound, vibration, rust, scratching or discoloration that are the result of normal wear and tear, aging or continuous use.
- Cosmetic damages, including scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of the Product.
- Replacement of consumable parts or the costs of any additional nonfunctional parts or components.
- Product where the original factory serial numbers have been removed, defaced or changed in any way.
- 5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BY ALLOWING LG TECHNICIAN TO PERFORM ANY DIAGNOSTIC AND REPAIR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE LG ELECTRONICS, INC., LG ELECTRONICS USA, INC., LG ELECTRONICS ALABAMA, INC. AND THEIR EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE, FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE LOSS OF USE OFTHE PRODUCT OR OTHER ITEMS, OR LOSS OF SALE, PROFITS OR OPPORTUNITY OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY AND/OR LOSS YOU MAY SUFFER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATIONINDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHICH MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF ANY DIAGNOSTIC OR REPAIR SERVICES AND OR ACTIVITIES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH (EXCEPT ANY LIABILITY WHICH BY STATUTE CANNOTBE WAIVED OR EXCLUDED).LG’S TOTAL LIABILITY, IF ANY, FOR ANY DAMAGES OR OTHERWISE, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SERVICE FEE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO LGE FOR THE REPAIR SERVICE, WHICH IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM OR DISPUTSOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
- 6.RIGHT TO REFUSE.LG Technician reserves the right to refuse any repair that he/she believes is beyond the scope of reasonable repair, or for other good cause or reason

FORECE MAJEURE.LG assumes no liability for any delay in performing the Repair Service where the delays result directly or indirectly from causes beyond the control of LG, including, but not limited to, strikes or labor troubles, fires,floods, storms, shortages, supplier problems, delays in delivery of supplies or the diversion of LG’s production capacity under government order for government purposes, any governmental regulation, law or order,or any other event that is beyond the reasonable control of LG.
- 7. FORECE MAJEURE.LG assumes no liability for any delay in performing the Repair Service where the delays result directly or indirectly from causes beyond the control of LG, including, but not limited to, strikes or labor troubles, fires,floods, storms, shortages, supplier problems, delays in delivery of supplies or the diversion of LG’s production capacity under government order for government purposes, any governmental regulation, law or order,or any other event that is beyond the reasonable control of LG.
- 8. CHOICE OF LAW.This Agreement shall be deemed to have been made and executed in the State of Alabama and any dispute arising hereunder shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without reference to its conflict of laws principles.In the event of any dispute related to this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all its expenses related to such dispute including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs
- 9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT.This Agreement sets forth the entire agreement between LG and the Customer hereto with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all previous negotiations,representations, understandings and agreements heretofore made between LG and the Customer.
- 10. SEVERABILITY.The provisions of this Agreement are severable, and if any clause or provision hereof shall be held invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part in any jurisdiction, then such invalidity or unenforceability shall affect onlysuch clause or provision, or part thereof, in such jurisdiction and shall not in any manner affect such clause or provision or part thereof in any other jurisdiction or any other clause or provision of this Agreement.
- 11. EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF PARTIES.The rights and obligations created by this Agreement shall be for the exclusive benefit of LG and the Customer hereto and their permitted assigns. Nothing contained herein is intended, nor shall it be construed, to create any right, interest or benefit for any third party, nor shall any third party be entitled to enforce any right or obligation provided in this Agreement.
- 12. Validity.LG holds the right to amend the provisions, clauses or applications of this Out-of-Warranty Repair Service Agreement from time to time without notice; however such changes would not be retrospective.

- An LG Support Representative will provide a Return Authorization number and shipping instructions.For in warranty repair service, you must include a copy of the proof of purchase inside the product packaging returned to the LG Product Repair Center.Some repairs may not be covered by the Warranty Agreement, so certain parts and labor fees may apply.
- Mobile Phone: The LG Manufacturer`s Warranty does not cover physical, liquid, or cosmetic damage. If the device is damaged and deemed repairable charges may apply even if the device is in warranty.If the device is deemed as un-repairable, the device will be returned to you as is.

CHOICE OF LAW.This Agreement shall be deemed to have been made and executed in the State of Alabama and any dispute arising hereunder shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without reference to its conflict of laws principles.In the event of any dispute related to this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all its expenses related to such dispute including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs
- 9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT.This Agreement sets forth the entire agreement between LG and the Customer hereto with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all previous negotiations,representations, understandings and agreements heretofore made between LG and the Customer.
- 10. SEVERABILITY.The provisions of this Agreement are severable, and if any clause or provision hereof shall be held invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part in any jurisdiction, then such invalidity or unenforceability shall affect onlysuch clause or provision, or part thereof, in such jurisdiction and shall not in any manner affect such clause or provision or part thereof in any other jurisdiction or any other clause or provision of this Agreement.
- 11. EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF PARTIES.The rights and obligations created by this Agreement shall be for the exclusive benefit of LG and the Customer hereto and their permitted assigns. Nothing contained herein is intended, nor shall it be construed, to create any right, interest or benefit for any third party, nor shall any third party be entitled to enforce any right or obligation provided in this Agreement.
- 12. Validity.LG holds the right to amend the provisions, clauses or applications of this Out-of-Warranty Repair Service Agreement from time to time without notice; however such changes would not be retrospective.
